Hey everybody!

 

I know I’ve been quiet lately but I definitely have been busy! I know I said I was planning to do a non-Thrice one off but then I got started on another project and I haven’t really been working on what I intended. But great things are coming!

 

In the meantime, Thrice released their new single last night and it’s freaking awesome! So of course I had to stay up late busting out a chart for it. I would have released it this morning, but I still hadn’t received my high quality mp3 download so I had to wait.

So I went to Underoath’s Rebirth tour last night (they played They’re Only Chasing Safety and Define The Great Line in their entirety)–I had never seen them before. AMAZING show. It’s a crime more of their stuff hasn’t been available. I’m definitely going to have to chart some of it at some point.

Okay well if I’m being completely honest, I haven’t had a chance to playtest 100% of this yet. There are 3 or 4 songs that I haven’t played Guitar, Bass, or Vocals on. That being said, I WILL be play testing them ASAP (hopefully tomorrow… maybe not until later in the week) and if I run into any issues I will be updating on the database ASAP. So with that disclaimer out of the way….

Image of the Invisible is official DLC, and I recommend you go grab it before it’s license potentially expires! The others however….

 

Each track is awesome in it’s own respect. So I highly recommend you check them all out… but if you’re picking and choosing, I’d say get BTE&WWL, Earth Will Shake, For Miles, Like Moths To Flame, and Weight of Glory for sure.

 

Just so people are aware, my #V10 hint was because Vheissu is currently celebrating it’s 10 year anniversary. Thrice was doing blurbs on it every week or so before they started recording their new album and people were speculating a 10th anniversary tour… but unfortunately it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen. Not that I’m complaining because their new album sounds FREAKING AMAZING so far.

 

Also consider reading this review: https://chorus.fm/review/thrice-vheissu/ (I didn’t write it, it’s just a really good review that seemed to echo my feelings the last time I read it, which was a couple of years ago.)
