If you think Harmonix has the time and the intention to police YouTube channels you need to rethink it…
I don’t think HMX has the time, the staff, or the interest in policing YouTube channels. I do think perhaps someone on the music industry side of things cares. They get royalties from sales of the game/DLC and if someone can just search the song on Youtube and find out it’s already available via customs then that hurts their business.
The strike came from IFPI making a claim and requesting a takedown of the video (which happened, which is fine. I think technically the video was within Fair Use but I don’t care enough to research it or make a counter-claim.)
Again, it really could just be coincidence…. super convenient and strange coincidence, but coincidence all the same haha.

I’ve wanted to do this song since the album came out (almost a year ago
) but just never quite lined up that way. Built a new PC and what better excuse to chart it than to make sure my workflow all works! (Spoiler alert: it didn’t. Getting everything for charting back together was harder than I thought it would be lol)Anyway, great song, and I’m glad I did it.
I will say the Guitar was harder to chart than my brain thought it would be, and it came out a little less well than I had hoped… but I still like it and still wanted to share. All other instruments are great (imo) so give it a go!
I also took some time to fix the animations on the EP Tracks, so I’ll be updating each of those in the database. I finally got a chance to playtest each of them, and as I was finishing up Air I realized I had made a minor error in that the midi files I imported to put the songs together weren’t 100% up to date with the ones in the individual songs that are up on the database…. so there are some minor differences (errors in charting) between the individual tracks and the EP tracks. The problem is I don’t know exactly which songs had changes and which ones didn’t, and I don’t currently have the motivation to go back through and replace every single song (sorry!). Maybe someday.
Anyway. That’s it for me. My next release(s) will probably be non-Thrice stuff. I do want to get around to some more Illusion, Beggars, and M/m stuff, but I have some other songs I’d rather work on/tweak first before I get to all that. Also I can’t give any sort of timetable on when my next releases will be because school is starting up again and this semester looks like it’s gonna be a bit tougher than last semester… also I’m having a (second) baby this summer (but maybe that will give me an excuse to chart more…somehow. lol) and…. stuff and things.

So sad It was pulled even when it was not released yet, but I respect your decision, Gonna miss this one because i’m slow in downloading and don’t have the connection or pc power to be fast. Thank you for Thrice customs.
