Are SeatGeek fees higher than other ticket platforms, or is there a way to reduce them?

A few months ago, I tried to buy concert tickets through seatgeek, but something went wrong with my order. I was charged, but the tickets never showed up in my account. It took multiple calls and emails to get it sorted, and I nearly missed the event. While they eventually resolved the issue, it was a stressful experience I hope I don’t have to repeat anytime soon.

That sounds incredibly frustrating! It’s good that SeatGeek eventually resolved the issue, but I can imagine how stressful it must have been, especially with the event looming.
