So as much as I admired Neal Peart this one hurts even more. Anyone familiar with the band Cynic knows the impact and influence that they had on so many bands in the last 30 years and Sean melding of metal and jazz fusion was a big part of that. He was only 48 years old but he definitely leaves a legacy I won’t soon forget. Rest in Peace Sean.
