Hi again everyone! The Feeder project is still ongoing (look out for their Swim EP later this month), but I’ll be interspersing it with a variety of singles and packs as I go.
Today, I’m releasing three customs featuring pop songs with women on the vocals. I don’t know why in particular, but these sorts of songs seem to be some of the most fun to chart, and I’ve been meaning to do more songs in this vein since I did The Fear by Lily Allen last summer.
Two of these tracks were featured in major films – Pure Shores was used in The Beach, and Boom Clap in The Fault in Our Stars. You may know Charli XCX from her featured appearance on Icona Pop’s single I Love It, which has previously received a C3 release. Ladyhawke’s My Delirium is probably more obscure, but is a great song and well worth a listen.
Pure Shores and My Delirium feature full multitracks. Vocals and Pro Keys are most fun in these tracks, look out for bass in My Delirium and Boom Clap, plus guitar in Pure Shores too. All the parts are fun if you know the songs. Enjoy!

No I didn’t, sorry. I searched the forums for Ladyhawke before I started and all that came up was the OMCB thread.
I see now you added it to your thread three months ago so I’m sorry if you’ve spent lots of time on it.
PS: I’d suggest including artists as well as song titles on your thread for clarity. Also, I see now that you said you were trying to work out the mix for the stems, so I guess you hadn’t got too far with that. I’m not trying to tread on anyone’s toes, I did search the forums and database before starting (as I always do). If I’d seen it on your thread I would’ve messaged you. Sorry I missed it.

Is this really nessasary, buck is a fantastic author who works very hard, but has a job, if we all avoided wip list then there would be no songs to do, lets not tarnish this great great pack and rock out guys and have fun!
Did you mix the song? Just don’t sound the same as I remember the song.

I’m really fucking annoyed with people picking on me.
I did mix the song yes, I’ve tweaked some levels depending on the parts being played, raised the keys volume etc. Leaving it as it was would’ve made it very difficult to hear the parts charted. The stems I found had a full mix included but I didn’t use it. I’ve known the song since it came out and I think it sounds fine in the game, but yes, it will sound slightly different.
Let’s all turn down the intensity a notch. It is very frustrating seeing a song you’re working on being released by someone else and I don’t think his remarks were out of line at all, Tails. Rock Bogers explained himself, no need to pile on. However, it’s now at least 3 distinct instances where somebody claims to be picked on when that is simply not true, and that also has no place here.
Work on songs you don’t care for only to release them for other people at your own peril: your first “customer” should be yourself, so that if anyone works on that song the worst that can happen is that you can stop working on it and enjoy it yourself.
