My last week of customs continues with two tracks from the first album I ever bought

 

Well, yeah.

 

I was a sophmore in college when this song came out, and I remember hearing it everywhere. Thanks for making me feel ancient!

 

Great song and album; thought these guys were a bunch of tools back then, but as I’ve gotten older, my appreciation for their music has grown. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Oh Champagne Supernova finally! And it wasn’t me who had to do it!

 

Cast No Shadow is great too. The whole album is great. That makes six tracks from WTSMG in the game now. Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger from HMX, Some Might Say from GH, Roll With It from me, and now two more from you. Awesome.

Can’t believe you’re taking a break… But it’s completely understood and well deserved. Very honourable reason to do so too. Thanks for all your work – it was nice having someone mine a more British vein with stuff like Blur, Oasis, the Streets, etc. I was holding out that you would eventually work your way around to early Supergrass, Pulp, Suede, etc but it’s not to be.

I’ll try and keep doing customs as much as I can but I’ve been told more times than I can remember that I will have ‘no free time at all’ while I’m studying – of course, if it turns out I do, I’ll try and devote a bit of it to customs, but they won’t be nearly as frequent as they have been for the last few weeks. Ok out of all the authors here I believe you this band would haven in your “taste”, did you ever thought about doing some Manic Street Preachers? Motorcycle Emptiness or If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next would have been epic.

I’m planning on sharing my goodbye-for-now customs tomorrow – they’re just what I happened to have finished so no ‘huge’ releases or anything, although the Oasis earlier this week has proved popular already ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

 

I will be uploading at least six customs, and perhaps one or two more if I can get them finished. But six for definite – have some hints for them.

 

1) This is a 4-pack from a Canadian band who have appeared once in Rock Band before. It’s pretty hard to search for them online without coming across a different three-piece band… or were they a four-piece? This pack features three songs from their first album and one song from their third album.

 

2) This song showcased a much softer side to this punk rock band that emerged in the 1970s. It proved to be a popular side as well – it was, and remains, their most successful single.

 

3) Next is a song from this band’s major label debut. Despite the band being American, the album, with a Salinger-inspired title, was released in the UK and Europe a year earlier than in the States.
