For your enjoyment today are two singles by The Cure, both in the pop-like style they became well-known for in the mid-1980s.

 

The Cure – The Caterpillar

 

First up is The Caterpillar, which is surprisingly tricky on all instruments for such a mellow song. If you are a Pro Keys player, I strongly suggest using No Fail Mode on this. The bulk of the song isn’t too bad, but I would say 99 times out of 100, you’ll struggle to get past the intro!

 

The Cure – In Between Days

 

Next we have In Between Days, the opening track from their brilliant 1985 LP The Head on the Door. Again, this is fun on all instruments, with lots of nifty drum fills and quick chord changes in the guitar.

 

Two great songs, I’m sure you’ll agree – there are so many more Cure songs I wish I had time to do but these are two of my favourites so they got the customs treatment – enjoy! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
