    I did see that yeah, sorry I didn’t reply.     Here are some hints for a new 3-pack, which should be arriving tomorrow with a bit of luck…

     

    This band was formed in the 1980s. Their original name was inspired by a short story by a 20th-century author who only published one full-length novel.

     

    Song 1) Title track from the band’s third album. Features a guest appearance from someone who also later appeared on the band’s seventh album, although the latter appearance was not quite as prominent as the former.

     

    Song 2) This single from the band’s fourth album featured a video inspired by a cult 1970s movie.

     

    Song 3) This was the first single the band released without their original lead guitarist. The guitarist later rejoined the band after looking for joy in publishing for a while.

    More difficult clues this time but the clues do point to the band Blur.

     

    So if I am right:

    #2 The Univrsal

    #3 Out Of Time

     

    I’d love to see Girls and Boys, Country House and Coffee and TV if you’re looking to extend this pack!

    If it is Blur I’m glad Out Of Time is in it. I think Think Tank is a masterpiece from beginning to end. Especially Out Of Time, Good Song, Sweet Song, On The Way To The Club, We’ve Got A File On You and Battery In Your Leg! (Especially Battery In Your Leg, wow)

    I tried to make the clues a bit trickier but obviously not tricky enough – I’ll try harder next time <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> well worked out!

     

    Never been too keen on Country House (although it would admittedly be fun in RB, especially for harmonies), but will keep the other two in mind if I revisit Blur another time <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

    Hi everyone, this time I’ve got three songs by Blur for you – two from their mid-90s Britpop heyday and a later, more solemn single too. These are great fun to play on all instruments, even the not-too-challenging drum parts. Keep an eye out in particular for the Pro Keys part in Out of Time – quite fun to try and keep up with a traditional Moroccan orchestra <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> enjoy!
