Oh my god, I love that Cold War Kids song, I main Expert vocals and that song has a nice range of high notes… wonderful! Thank you! I’ll let you know if the vocals on there are off. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

And just out of curiosity is there anymore Muse that you might have on that “summer charting list”? jajaja

Sweet, this is an awesome batch of customs. Love the Cold War Kids, and I will always be thrilled to see more Death Cab. Can’t remember that Rage track, but I’m sure it’s great.

I think it’s from a special edition of the album, but if you felt like doing Death Cab’s cover of Björk’s “All is Full of Love,” I would be thrilled.

Yeah, do let me know if anything is off and I’ll get it sorted <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Muse are always on my radar and there are some songs I’d definitely like to do if I have time, so watch this space <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I don’t know their version of it all that well to be honest. I’ll check it out again sometime soon and see if I’m inspired to do anything with it!

          NEW – 25th July

Before I introduce today’s new customs, I just wanted to say a few words about this thread. Firstly, thanks to this whole community for making customs possible for everyone to enjoy and create – in the months since I’ve found C3 I’ve spent as much time as I can playing and creating customs and it’s been great fun <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

You may have noticed I’ve been uploading customs a lot more regularly now. There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, I’ve decided to be a bit less picky about certain aspects of my customs. I was spending a couple of hours doing Guitar, Bass and Drums, another hour or so on Pro Keys, but then spending the same amount of time again perfecting vocal tubes when, more often than not, if they’re *nearly* right, there’s no obvious difference in the game anyway. This means I can create and share customs more often <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

More importantly, I’m returning to university after a five-year gap in September. I’m going to start teacher training and will have no spare time at all – I’m even becoming a bit concerned about when I’ll have time to play RB4! But it does mean that I’m going to use as much of the summer as possible for getting through a lot of the customs I still want to make. Everything I make will be going straight here rather than on the Show Board.

So, basically, for the next few weeks I’ll hopefully be sharing more and more songs, but please keep in mind, they might not be completely perfect <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> thanks so much to everyone who’s commented on my customs, it’s great to know they’re being enjoyed <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Anyway, that’s enough of me rabbiting on, let’s have some more customs <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Rage Against the Machine – Bullet in the Head (1x Bass Pedal)

Rage Against the Machine – Bullet in the Head (2x Bass Pedal)

First up today is my favourite song by Rage Against the Machine, Bullet in the Head, from their 1992 debut album. I started this custom months ago but got a bit stuck with the drum part, but after a determined charting session I think it’s okay now. Some parts of the song seem to have a slightly swung beat which might not be done completely accurately, but it should be playable <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Death Cab for Cutie – Steadier Footing

Death Cab for Cutie – A Movie Script Ending

Next up, the first two tracks from Death Cab for Cutie’s third full-length effort, 2001’s The Photo Album. This album is, on some days, my favourite of theirs. I’m hoping to chart the whole thing eventually, but thought I’d share these now. A Movie Script Ending is one of the band’s best songs and if you fancy sampling some Death Cab, I’d strongly recommend starting there.

Cold War Kids – Hang Me Up to Dry

Finally today is Hang Me Up to Dry by Cold War Kids, previously featured on Band Hero. I don’t know what counts as a conversion by C3 standards, but I’m not saying this is one because I’ve charted everything from scratch (apart from the vocals which I took from stampface’s thread – thank you very much to them for the Vocal part and the stems for this track <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />).

Look out here for a Keys part where I’ve tried to accurately transcribe random notes being mashed on a piano. If anyone sightread FCs the expert Pro Keys part on this track, I will buy you a drink <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

That’s it for today, I’ll be back with more as soon as possible – enjoy <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

truly on top form man keep it up :-) ps great pack btw

I can always use more Death Cab in my library. Thanks for some of Ben’s early work (well, maybe not early work, but pre-Plans).

          #451203

Thanks for more Death Cab! Can’t wait to see more from them! Keep up the fantastic work Ruck!

Jean Michel Jarre – Oxygene Part IV

            Thank you! :excited:

Awesome, was hoping somebody would chart the crazy keys for Hang Me Up To Dry!

Got a couple more songs coming up tomorrow – why not have some hints <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

            1) This song was this band’s second number one single in their home country. It might have been their third, had it not been for a highly irritating novelty song keeping them at Number 2 in 2005.

            2) The singer of this band (which itself is often mistaken for a solo act) shares their name with a character from the British version of a 1960s French children’s TV show. The song is the first track from their latest album.

            See you tomorrow! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
