Rock Band DLC hardlock

I think this is likely to be a Harmonies Project issue, but I’m not sure, and in any event this is the best place for Rock Band expertise left on the web. Apologies if I’m breaking the rules.
I have a RBHP install from 2014, and I just noticed that loading ‘Dammit’ hardlocks my Xbox.
I used to have the store-bought pro guitar/bass upgrade, and as we know that conflicts with the RBHP key chart and/or harmonies in some way. The problem is that I can’t undo it – I’ve tried deleting the pro upgrade, deleting the song from inside RB3 and redownloading it from the Store, and all sorts of different bundles of upgrades using C3 Con Tools. My pro guitar score continues to show up in the song listing within RB3, even when the song doesn’t have a pro upgrade, and then it hardlocks when selected.
Does this mean that the wrong data is somehow embedded in the cache, and I have to rebuild? I’d rather not give up my scores under TU4, but I understand if that’s the only way.
