I think I’ll pass on RB4 until they add online multiplayer. I would basically be paying 60$ to gain 60 some songs, but I end up losing out on Keyboard, online functionality, and most importantly, all my custom songs.
Gamestop may end up being a better bet for me. Maybe I’ll do that.Thanks guys
Some people on the RB forums said that Gamestop’s $5 doesn’t apply to RB4, because it’s not an in-store pickup.

So … is anything else coming out of E3 or do you think this’ll be it?I was wondering this too and was hoping someone will chime in. According to the Gamespot E3 schedule RB4 will be closing out their coverage tomorrow (at 5:20PM PDT) but I don’t know if they will be announcing anything new.
I’m kinda hoping for some new song announcements.. I mean It’s cool and all that we know 10 songs from the setlist, but Guitar Hero has announced what, 90 songs now?
Guitar Hero has announced what, 90 songs now?To be fair, most of those are GHTV tracks, which is basically their DLC. We actually only know of 7 songs that are definitely on-disc.

RB4 will have “60+ songs” and they have revealed 10 so far so that is 50+ to go. We have about 14 weeks before the game comes out. They could reveal around 4 songs/week until the game comes out and to keep hype up.

I pre ordered my RB4 full band box at Gamestop. I put down $50 and have till Oct. 6 launch date to pay balance of $249. That comes with a code they email you for 30 free DLC songs. Breaking Ben & The Pretty Reckless are the 2 best songs in the 30 pack from what I’ve seen so far.

And there you have it. No ION support at launch. Glad I pre ordered the band bundle.

Since that was an answer to the request for “guitar on keys” support, I’m not sure if that’s supposed to mean they’re completely slamming the door on the possibility of keyboards in RB4. But it sure sounds like it.
Oh well, that’s about where I had tempered my expectations anyway.
