I wonder if all instruments mode is still there, or some feature where you can play an instrument and show the lyrics without having to sing or affect your score.
With no “real” instruments left in the game, practice mode is largely not needed anymore.

There won’t be an AIM for the simple reason that there is no longer a keyboard to accommodate.
Now, if it can only start loading cache without you having to press ‘Start’, we’ll have one less patently stupid UX decision to contend with, too!
When I first found this place, I discovered this the hard way. I deleted the cache, restarted the Xbox and threw in the RB disk, and said “this will probably take a while. Let me go out for a while.” When I came back…yep…new cache not loaded until I hit “Start” ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
PS4 guitars require you to tilt to deploy overdrive ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

EDIT: looks like PS3 guitars will still let you use select to activate overdrive
A user on HMX boards has claimed that the MPA works on PS4. No secondary confirmation as of yet.
Edit: CONFIRMED!!!

Someone from the Road Crew was just streaming it and it worked on the PS4! That’s great news for Playstation players!
Lucky PS4 users. I guess the Xbox One is the black sheep this time around
That’s it, I’m buying a PS4.
I may or may not be kidding. I still have time to decide. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Thats really awesome for PS4 players but I’m being patient that a solution will arise soon for XboxOne drummers.

The compatibility chart got updated.
Strangely enough they claim the PS3 MPA doesn’t work even though people have confirmed that it does
So, assuming the MPA does actually work, I’d have to buy a minimum of a new drum brain for my Xbox Ion kit (cheapest I could immediately find that would accept 1/4 inch triggers and output to MIDI is the Asesis Trigger|IO module for around $160) and a PS3 MIDI pro adapter. Is there any cheaper drum module that would do the job?

Yep – my never used Alesis Trigger I/O ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
Sounds tempting, but I don’t even have a PS4 yet. Even then I have little/no incentive to change console families at the cost of replacing all equipment.
