Rock Band 4 Amazon Pre-Orders

So, as you all know, Rock Band Rivals has been released today. Knowing that I’d get two extra songs ordering it off of Amazon, I pre-ordered it in mid-September. Amazon has said it would arrive today ever since I pre-ordered it, but to my surprise, it said it was coming next week. Furious, I called Amazon to wonder what the hell was going on, and they said that they delayed the shipment by a few days for whatever reason. Now I have to wait until the 25th to play. They compensated by extending my Prime membership by a month for free, so I guess that’s something. I’m just pissed. Who else experienced this?
The first day the pre orders went live I also preordered on Amazon. Also says I’ll have to wait till the 25th. No big deal for me because I’m still waiting till the end of November for the XboxOne Midi Pro Adapter to be released.
I got burned up here in Canada as well. Said it would be here on release day and I have prime. Yet now today it says not in stock on their website. So I contacted them pissed off. And they said they wont get more till Nov 21 till dec 1. I got my prime trial extended 1 month and a 10 dollar voucher for any future orders. This was my first and last order from them.
I doubt it’s Amazon’s fault if manufacturers/distributors didn’t follow through on providing enough units for pre-orders. I’m pretty sure something like this happened to me before too, with the MIDI pro adapter all those years ago.
Don’t know why that’s happening to you guys. I wasn’t sure I was going to pre-order, but my wife said I should once watching the stream on Monday. I ordered on Monday afternoon, and my jaguar bundle is being delivered tomorrow. I also got the two codes for the pre-order bonuses over email last night.
