May 2, 2013 at 1:00 am #399060Ok, i’ll save starting a new thread for mine, but there are a few bands i’d love to see.
First off, Muse. There… I said it… I’m really happy to see them already, but i’d love more. I know there are a few more in the GH franchise, but there are so many I’d love to see. ANY news on this one would be great.
Second, the killers. Stuff from Hot fuss in particular would be great.
A few other bands I can think of:
Biffy Clyro
Brand New
Twin Atlantic
Dire Straits
The animals
If you have any news on any of these, that would be awesome. Just a few thoughts for requests. Thanks for the customs so far!
I have interest in doing the customs for The Animals “We gotta get out of this place” and “Don’t let me be misunderstood”. They are on my long list of songs to do someday, but if I could find a partner or two that can handle drums (at least) and also keys and vocals then these would get done sooner. If anyone has any interest let me know.
May 2, 2013 at 1:21 am #399062At this time, we have no plans to port over content that was Harmonix-released through our project. This may change at some point (potentially when the gen switch happens), but would likely need to include some actual work done on the chart.
Understandable. Just a bummer to have lost one of my fav guitar tracks.
I’ll just have to wish for some more Faith No More, then. Or Thin Lizzy.
Thin Lizzy’s Running Back and Romeo and the Lonely Girl are on my radar. Expect them sometime in the next 5 years, unless someone else gets to them first.
May 2, 2013 at 5:30 pm #399088my life would be complete if someone could do anything by:
1. The Melvins (surely im not the only Melvins fanatic : )
2. Rocket From The Crypt
3. Down
4. Hank III
May 2, 2013 at 6:09 pm #399090Anime or Japanese songs??
e.g.
Aya Hirano – God Knows
Aya Hirano – Lost my Music
Asian Kung-fu Generation – Haruka Kanata
Death Note songs
Bleach songs…
May 2, 2013 at 8:45 pm #399095I would love to see more System of a Down charted. And also some metalcore songs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
May 3, 2013 at 5:10 am #399106Mainly because I’m the only one here that does mostly metal, whenever I get down to it, I’m going to hopefully get some more metal tracks out there. As of right now, I have about 7 or 8 full-band customs out there. At first, I’d be doing more of the mainstream stuff in packs of 3, just to see what kind of audience I’m picking up. Don’t get your hopes up too quick, either, because I work at my own pace whenever I have free-time, which is less than I’d like until the end of the month.
May 3, 2013 at 7:35 am #399108I’d like to see One Winged Angel from the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children soundtrack.
Also some Fear Factory and Type O Negative would be nice as well ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
May 3, 2013 at 8:59 am #399111I would love to see more System of a Down charted. And also some metalcore songs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>We have a couple of people who are working to release through C3 which we hope will become regular contributors and they would satisfy the hardcore metal scene, I believe.
May 3, 2013 at 3:28 pm #399137I couldn’t really a find a thread for either of these bands but I would love a 3-pack from the band 10 Years and a 3-pack of Goo Goo Dolls. For 10 Years I would go with Wasteland, Beautiful and Shoot It Out. For the Goo Goo Dolls I would go with Iris, Slide and Here Is Gone. I don’t know how Harmonix never got any Goo Goo Dolls songs in Rock Band as it seems like their type of music would sell well to the general RB crowd. I see Guitar Hero got one Goo Goo Dolls song (there you go GHtoRB3 guys!) but that’s it.
May 9, 2013 at 12:07 pm #399441I would love to see more (or any) from any of the following…The Cure (anything)
Radiohead (Really anything would work for me, Fake Plastic Trees, Paranoid Android, Wolf at the Door I could go on)
The National (Mr. November or Secret Meeting)(the drum tracks on these would be mega fun)
Arcade Fire (would be great to do harmonies on Wake Up, Power Out and Rebellion would also rule)
Pavement
Bruce Springsteen
I am looking into how to do customs myself so if anyone has interest in these I might be able to help out in the near future.
I second that (I’m putting the finishing touches to Rebellion by Arcade Fire FYI ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> ), and I’d add the long list of popular or groundbreaking bands that got mostly left out of RB series, like U2 (I started working on some of their songs, hope I’m not stepping on C3 toes), The Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Joy Division, Cream/Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Genesis, The Smiths… and more Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin of course ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
May 9, 2013 at 1:45 pm #399447I know we’ve had one 331Erock song in the customs list before but we really should get his new one going:
Doom (theme song) meets Metal, tribute to Jeff Hanneman.
May 9, 2013 at 6:35 pm #399459Are there any Dave Grohl or Jack White fans in the C3 circle? I’d love to see some more stuff by Nirvana/Foo Fighters/Them Crooked Vultures or The White Stripes/The Raconteurs/The Dead Weather. Something off the Blunderbuss album would be also awesome.

May 16, 2013 at 9:48 pm #399715Here’s an eclectic group of bands that would play well in RB that do not currently have any songs in. Lots of good Self Loathing lyrics if your into that sort of thing too ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Ben Folds Five – Army, Selfless Cold Compossed, Satan is my Master (Probably a pain in the ass to chart though because of all the piano)
Days of the New – Shelf in the Room, Where I Stand, Die Born
Afghan Whigs – Debonair, Fountain and Fairfax, What Jail is Like
