So I was working on a custom and in a brief moment of dumb I swapped the Artist name and Song name. I’ve since fixed it, however, no matter how many times I delete the file from my X-Box and replaced it it’s still coming up as that. I tried changing the song tag/ID in Magma but to no avail. I feel like there’s an easy fix for this that I might just be missing. Help a brother out?
You might have to delete your song cache in that case, either that or switch both the song ID, song version number and the actual file name of the CON.
Con name is not something I thought of. I’ll give it a try. How do I delete my song cache without it messing up my game though?
Sub question: Will that finally get Black Hole Sun to show up? It’s the only “lost” song that won’t reinsert for me.
There is no way that you change your song ID and it doesn’t show up in game. Cache deletion means losing all scores and data like how many times played, etc. Just recompile the song through Magma changing ID and you’re good to go.
The song shows up after changed ID but in the game it still shows the old incorrect naming. I’ll give all of these a try today and report back.
Just checking back in to say that renaming the Con is what ended up working.
