Hi all, I’m asking this question on behalf that I can hopefully save a lot more time when charting vocals.

 

Is it possible that I can create MIDI notes while the song is playing? Say when the bar scrolls down the board, I can press/hold a button to generate a MIDI note.

Not without scripting. For that the FoF editor thingy is still the best, though importing will need quite a bit of cleanup.

Frets on Fire, a GH/RB freeware clone. The editor you’re looking for is EOF (http://code.google.com/p/editor-on-fire/), nifty piece of software by Raynebc
