Good evening. I am trying to tempo map my own song and when I press [Q] and select the section with the four beats it goes to another section I didn’t select and screws up the tempo.
So if anybody can help that would be swell!
Place the cursor at the start of the new measure, but don’t select anything, then press Q to have REAPER calculate the BPM for the previous measure and place the appropriate markers.
Hope that addresses your problems. Tempo mapping can be a pain to get used to, but it’s really easier than you might think once you get used to how REAPER is set up to do it.
