I thought I’d give REAPER 4.x another try – anybody know how to make REAPER 4.x’s zoom usable?

 

In REAPER 3.x, if you set the grid to 1/64, it stays that way until you zoom out “too much”, and then REAPER displays quarter notes.

 

In REAPER 4.x, it just sort of decides what to do on its own, and it only does 1/64 if you zoom WAY THE HELL IN. I find it nigh-useless for charting vocals.

Always had to zoom in a lot, yes. There’s probably a way but I don’t know how.

Thanks for saving me the effort of trying 4.x myself. I am sick of the 3.78 bug where it randomly goes to measure -23000 or so when you leave REAPER open for too long, though.
