I’m opening projects that I originally worked on in Reaper 3.78 that used mp3 and ogg files. Now when I’m opening the project files in 4.22 those formats do not work. They come off as OFFLINE and when I create a new project and try to import them they’re are not even available to import. Any ideas????

Pull up Item Properties, and Choose new file – is it in the right place?

Yes. When I choose load new file I go to the folder where the OGG audio file is and it’s not allowing me to import it. Same with mp3

I know the quick answer is to convert the files to WAV but there should be a way to straight import them into Reaper 4.x or am I wrong? Help mods

Likewise confused – my REAPER has no problem with mp3, flac, etc.

I haven’t had this problem either and believe me, my understanding of reaper is remedial at best, but can you remove the off-line track, then drag and drop the ogg/mp3 file?

Turns out when I updated to 4.22 the option to allow compressed formats was unchecked automatically so I reinstalled and checked this feature and it works <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
