Well the ions are wired so we’re shit out of luck if that article is correct ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
June 4, 2015 at 4:12 am #447081If they can’t make my Ion kit work, they’re effectively dropping pro drums for me and there goes the last shred of interest I had in RB4. I’m not going to ever buy another POS stock Rock Band drum kit.
June 4, 2015 at 11:52 am #447091Just bought a still boxed Wired Rock Band Guitar in anticipation as only ever had GH guitars (thinking I was being smart) bought a wired mic too! surely they must be able to get the wired instruments working with software tweaks sucks about the Guitar Hero live though no old guitars work and no previously bought dlc working (going to have to be a heck of a game to get me to part cash there)
June 4, 2015 at 5:10 pm #447121According to this video, both RB and GH wireless controllers will work on RB4, but not wired.well, fucking dropped.
June 4, 2015 at 5:45 pm #447124I thought they said in multiple places their focus was on wireless instruments because they’re more common and then wireless would be looked at next?
June 4, 2015 at 6:36 pm #447132I thought they said in multiple places their focus was on wireless instruments because they’re more common and then wireless would be looked at next?WHO CARES? LET US FREAK OUT MAYBE FOR NO REASON AT ALL!

Maybe, I hope you’re right.
Either way I don’t even have an xbone/ps4 so it might be a moot point for me anyway
June 5, 2015 at 5:32 am #447168Are people still that attached to their Xplorers? I loved mine for years but then it shit out and I just switched to the wireless WT guitar I had never used. Took me like a week or two to get used to it but now I’m fine with it. Last time I checked, Xplorers were going for like $40 minimum for a used one. Worth it just to move on IMO.

I actually have like 6 X-plorers, only one of which works perfectly and one more of which is usable.. the others all have little issues, mostly the wire being worn out and severed. Maybe I could repair them somehow, but I’m clueless at that kind of thing.
