    Hi All

Found this site today and I have breathed a sigh of relief after the RBM doom and gloom of the last few months since ‘the news’.

I have read the ScoreHero instructions on importing Custom Songs into RB3 and so far so good at least as far as RB3Con files are concerned , pretty striaght forward. The help file also mentions downloading RB3Maker and the link hosted on the 4shared website then downloads a file that AVG tells me is infected with a Troj*n vir*s. So, I am unable to install RB3Maker, although I have installed Magma with no issues.

    1) So , firstly is there an alternative download site that isnt hosting infected files OR is anyone able to post me an install set for the RB3Maker software please?

    2) Secondly, I note that some of the files I have downloaded from the C3 database are in RAR format and are 30+Mb in size. There doesnt appear anything that I can find explaining what we have to do with the RAR file – I thought perhaps there would be a compressed RBA file inside – but I have tried unzipping and the resulting file has no file extension…? Are we to rename the file to have an RBA file suffix and it is these files that are used by RB3Maker..?

Thank you for any help offered.

You don’t need RB3maker for any of the files in the C3 database. Just inject them as they are on your USB key unless they are compressed in RAR format, in which case just expand them first.

But as stated, when I unpack the files the files have no suffix….? Dont they need to be rb3con to be recognised by the xbox..?

Also why are these unpacked files over 30mb in size yet the ‘standard’ Rb3con files are only say 5 mb….?

      Thanks

Suffix is irrelevant. Multitrack files will contain more audio files and will be bigger in size.
