RAR files in spreadsheet songs?

Some songs that i downloaded from the spreadsheet wont show up on my RB3. i looked and noticed that there .RAR files. do i need to extract these files then add them to my USB to be able to play them on rb3?

How come they are rar though?
Because some things people take for granted just shouldn’t be. Most servers will not serve extensionless files, which CON files are. That was the case with KeepItFishy until some bright italian guy came on board and said “hey, I know how to fix that” and now we can serve CON files directly. Prior to that, I kept telling everyone to put songs in RAR files since they are universally known to be compressed files. Little did I know people would try to throw RAR files at the Xbox and at Le Fluffie

You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. While no song or file sold for commercially available videogames is hosted there and only fan generated content is allowed, Rhythm Gaming World has no direct control over the database and no files are hosted here. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
