MemberSo I’m trying a song I had charted I turned into a Martian from the misfits and in expert mode everything seems to be synced up well but when I play hard which is what I usually play anyways it is off sync by like half a second or less. Is there something I can do to fix this?

FarottoneKeymasterI can’t say why H would be off and X would not, but you are not autoring to a tempo map, that’s the one thing you need to know to start off with the right feet.
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> You need to tempo map the song (we have videotutorials on that, btw) so that once you’ve done so, your notes fall neatly on the grid lines and they don’t drift along with the song. Essentially tempo map locks the tempo with the song, so that in example the first note you put down is always going to be on the 1 of measure 3, regardless of how slow or fast your song is. This isn’t a “I don’t care enough to do it” kind of thing, it WILL make life harder if you don’t because it will feel off while playing and because bringing the song up to standard in the future will be a mess. Your call obviously but I strongly suggest taking a look at our tutorials and at RBN docs.

MemberI’ve got a question I’ve checked a few sites looking for a comparison of bpms as I’m up in the 250s between markers and my song is supposedly 125-129. Is this normal or am I doubling g my markers?

99.9% of songs are under 160 bpm.

If you’re authoring vocals, you should use a 1/128 grid instead of a 1/64 grid, to keep the proper accuracy.
*Edit: your musicians will dance around like they’ve got cholera though. Consider a [mellow].
