I’m a bit confused on how C3 Universe works. Is it just statistics of the downloads and custom sharing on this site? Or can you actually go there to download songs now? Because I can’t seem to find a definitive database, just what songs are being downloaded the most in different categories, and then all of your own information.
New Question:
Also, all of my own stats seem to be ONLY songs that I’ve uploaded to the database (on this site) that I had uploaded to Mediafire or Dropbox. Since then, I had moved to Google Drive and I’m gonna start using C3 storage once I start understanding it, but my point here is that it’s ONLY showing my REALLY old out-of-date customs, and none of my newer ones. Do I have to upload those manually to C3 Universe? Because it doesn’t make sense why only SOME of my customs, while ALL are uploaded to the database here, are actually showing up on C3 Universe. I don’t want to upload them and then accidentally make doubles or anything. I’m just confused.
Edit:
Also, the older customs of mine from both Mediafire and Dropbox are now switched to the C3 Universe download host now. I’m also confused on how it pulled the files from Mediafire and Dropbox onto its own host, but not my Google Drive ones and newer ones that used to be on Dropbox (before I moved them to Google Drive too). Because I have NEVER uploaded to any of the C3 host storages, not that it’s a bad thing, I just haven’t. And now I’m wondering how only some of them got there, and not others
Update:I uploaded my newer songs that didn’t make it to C3 Universe and now all of their download stats are gone and whatnot, even though they are custom songs that are aligned with the same ones I have in the database here. This is what I was talking about when I said I was afraid to make doubles on accident or something.Overall, I do appreciate all of the work put into C3 Universe and I can’t wait until it gets rolling and more understood. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 18, 2017 at 7:52 pm #486531Here’s one answer from the main announcement that you might have missed.
“To make things easier for you authors we have already automatically migrated most of your files from your current external host accounts as of January 1st 2017. Any file you uploaded after that date you need to add to the Control Panel. In addition, roughly 30% of the files you uploaded before that date didn’t transfer, so you will need to add those too.”

June 18, 2017 at 7:56 pm #486533I don’t know if there is a definitive answer as to why some songs did and some did not automatically migrate over.
Each author will need to take the time to check that all of their songs are accounted for and linked correctly, there’s just no way around that.

There isn’t. Some hosts don’t allow batch downloading, in some other cases special characters in the metadata prevented the migration script to recognize songs in the DB from the CON files. Import thing to know is just that anything done after January 1st needs to be uploaded or updated, anything untouched before that date can be left as is if it migrated properly.

The song and download counts. As Farottone said,
