I need an admin to answer here please. I have done customs for my personal use that are on the rock band store. But the ones I did include the fowl language and the double bass pedal. The ones on the store do not. It’s different in that sense. Would I be able to upload them on here or is that not allowed? I was just wondering if that was okay or should I just keep them for my personal use? Thanks in advance.

Oh alright. I wasn’t sure so I just wanted to ask. Thank you for clearing that up
January 12, 2015 at 4:02 pm #436049As a note, RBHP wouldn’t edit profanity back in (we chart what’s in the audio), and 2x bass impacts scoring so it wouldn’t fit in with what we’re doing right now. If the leaderboards ever die, then we can discuss that.

January 12, 2015 at 4:46 pm #436052It’s always “if the leaderboards die” but isn’t it possible to use the RBHP method to create a non-score saving version using the existing song files with the new midi?

You can do it “in theory” by changing the song id/short name, but that doesn’t match the CON that stays behind on your console, so as soon as you delete the dummy it just vanishes from the list.
I tried to do this with misheard lyrics at one point (piggy-backing on the original song’s info using that path, etc, and then pointing to a different upgrade .mid) and it didn’t work.
January 12, 2015 at 5:56 pm #436078Well, changing the shortname but not the path. But if the dummy file isn’t getting cached or since the delete actually deletes it, it may be preventing that from working.
