First of all, sorry for my bad english, it’s not my native language.

I am using a PS3

 

I’m using your customs songs since a few time now and i love it but i’m playing rock band 3 since a long time.

I purchased lot of songs but i didn’t manage to have customs songs with my purchased songs working at the same time.

 

First, i downloaded my purchased songs with PSN, i could use them. Secondly, i take them directly from the PS3 Hard disk using multiman then i tried to merge them with the custom songs i dowloaded from your data base.

When i launch the game, the PS3 is seeing them but when i tried to play, there is a error. The songs from the your data base works perfectly.

I hope you understand what i am saying, i just want to know if there is a way to have customs songs and purchased songs working at the same time. Without the need of format my hard disk.

Merging them will not work. If you want your way to work you’ll have to decrypt the MIDI files and re-encrypt them using the PS3 converter.

 

The most simplest way would be to create another PS3 account and use your PSN account there to download them; but you gotta be aware of the risks.

if i try to connect with my PSN account, i only see the purchased songs.

 

Can you explain me how to decrypt and re-encrypt the midi files? Some of the songs i purchased don’t have a midi files.

for example i have a song from RUSH

 

2112full with 3 files in it

one called “2112full.mid.edat”

antoher called “2112full.mogg”

and a files called “gen” with 2 files in it

one called “2112full.milo_ps3”

another called “2112full_keep.png_ps3”

 

what i mean is that the format is the same. The only différence is in the songs.dta files, indeed, It is not totally coded the same as the songs from the data base.

if you cant, i can copy the part of this songs, maybe it will be easyer to understand.
