PS3 Green Day Code ($9.99 Still Required)

So, I read that the Green Day Rock Band export codes are set to expire by the end of the month. That got me to thinking that since I got my Green Day songs for for pre-ordering the game, I still have this paid code on the back of my manual. I’ve always considered finding some way to give it away, but thought the need to still pay would be a bit awkward. Now that the codes are set to expire, there really isn’t an option now. So, here’s mine though remember, this is for PlayStation 3 and you still need $9.99 to get this. So, to anyone with a PS3 who missed out on Green Day, this is the chance to get in on it. Also, this comes from a North American disc (USA to be exact). Not sure how much of a difference that will make, but I just thought I’d bring that up just in case.

Still not worth it…even if there was no $9.99 fee. But nice gesture. Hopefully the person who claims it, will notify everyone else when the code is used up.

But nice gesture…I bought the GB:RB disc for $10 on ebay (free shipping) knowing I’d have to pay the $9.99 for the transfer and for a total of $19.99 it was a no-brainer. I never listened to any of the Green Day CDs, only knew songs from the radio and there were 23 songs on that disc that I recognized and which still get played regularly by friends. At less than $1 per song I dig, VERY worth it – even more so if you have friends.
