I just renamed the Kinks song so it doesn’t share the same name, and used encryption type 2 cause with type 1 encryption it didn’t work.

No prob, I did notice the .png was still named as a *xbox file and the mogg was empty on the ps3 file after it froze my ps3 just trying to preview, so I downloaded the XBox file and used C3 to process it into a working ps3 song.

Just to clarify, a *.png_xbox and a *.png_ps3 image are more than just a name difference. The PS3 image is byte swapped compared to the Xbox image, so a *.png_xbox should look like corrupted data if it shows anything at all.

I’m getting no preview and hangs on loading Fort Minor – Remember The Name and on Barnaked Ladies – The History Of Everything using the ps3 packages. I’ll grab the con’s and reconvert to see if it resolves it…

 

edit: grabbed the cons and re-converted – type 3 encryption on RTN and type 1 on THOE (since it didn’t seem to like type 3) and both are working fine now.

Well I have fixed version of the song if anyone need it send me pm. I fixed the song by unpacking the con file, then I renamed all the files including songs dta from Kinks song “youreallygotme” into “youreallygm” then I packed it all into con file and used encryption type 2 10 seconds. Works like charm.

I’ve just created the song You Really Got Me by the Kinks with a different song name (youreallygotme_kinks) so it’s possible to play both versions (Kinks & Van Halen) at the same time.

Looks like there is an issue with at least two Tears For Fears songs (Sowing the Seeds of Love & Mad World):

The songs freezes at the very end of each. It seems like there is an endless loop where the sound hangs…

 

Can anybody confirm this issue?

 

BTW: I tried all three conversion types…

I currently have 3 songs like this but that’s only what I know about so far as I only play new releases for a few seconds to confirm that they work. Tom Petty You Don’t Know How it Feels does it if anyone else can confirm this. I will test Sowing the Seeds today then.

I’m seeing this “soft lock” at the song end too. Most recently, I got it with Nunchuck and Sygenysis’ customs for “Fool for the City” and “Sunshine”. I also got it on Oreo’s version of “Shake It Off”. Tried all variants of encoding in C3CON V368, but they all still hang…
