I have been scratching my head for a while now with this error; I don’t think I’ve seen it before and I really don’t know what to look for. Could anyone shed light on the meaning of this error: “ERROR: MIDI Compiler: c:/users/alternity/google drive/customs/rock band-phase shift/nobuo uematsu/metamorphosis (ffvi)/metamorphosis.mid (PART REAL_BASS): Real Guitar Chord does not end on the same note at X:X:XXX”
I have this error mutliple times in the chart; but the REAL_BASS part has no chords at all. There is however pretty much only chords in the guitar track; but then why would it mention the bass track, I just don’t understand it.
After more digging I’ve found that it has to do with chords.. on the track it specifies; but yeah…. it has not a single chord.
Edit: OK I found the problem. It was overlapping notes most likely (I re-quantitized the whole thing). It was hard to find considering the error it said. At least if someone else has the same trouble it’s now written in the forums somewhere. lol
That is really a well known issue though: anytime notes overlap Magma will detect them as chords. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
