It was supposed to be a low blow but you replied like weeks after that. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”>
I have Sony Pulse Elites atm. Before that I kept cycling between cheap Logitech headsets.
Part of me is tempted to drop bank on a real nice set of headphones, but I don’t want a desk mic and do a lot of voice comms in online gaming (well, I say that, but I haven’t done much in the last two years), so I’m limited to the ‘okay’ quality of headsets .
I have both DT990 and 770 and I prefer the 990. I know what you’re saying about them being open but I prefer it when singing. Use the 770s when playing the bass and ATH-M50s when drumming. The 990s definitely needs power/amp to really shine.
I use a pair of Sennheiser HD595s that I’ve had for about 9 years and they’re the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn. I recently got replacement ear pads for them so they’re as good as new.
Currently ATH M50s, with the Sennheiser IE 60s as my earbuds. Looking to grab a HD 558 when I get a chance before I start saving for something more expensive.

I bought some Sennheiser HD 598s a week and change ago.
I like them. Very different sound than what I’m used to.
Now I need to try and get a ModMic, but… USD$50 + shipping w/ our exchange rate is… ehh…
Just picked up some Sennheiser Momentum on ears for $68. Not bad for a “lifestyle” headphone really. Perfect for being out and about.
