I posted a beta version of a converted file over in WIPs.

So here is my progress so far:

 

As suspected its been a nightmare trying to get the audio to sync ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> Being a noob I’m not really sure where to go from here. It feels like the song is in sync up until about the solo and then it all falls apart. Here is a link to a rar with the project, the clean midi, the modified audio and the con:

Hopefully one of you more knowledgeable types will take a look at it and let me know if I’m doing something obviously wrong. It would be much easier I think if I had the audio from the game, as I’ve had to try syncing my version of the song with the chart. I’m pretty sure its not a cover in the game (I haven’t played it) but I don’t know if they edited it in some strange way that might make it not sync. I don’t really want to have to redo the tempo map, since at this point I’m not capable.

 

However I do notice when playtesting it that there seems to one note in the chart that is late, and everything else from that point on seems late, almost as if the chart is shifted back a bit. Maybe I’m just imagining it and it’s really just the bad sync catching up to me, but I don’t know. I’m having trouble locating the spot in the chart to fix it but I’ll keep trying.
