I was thinking about the sheer amount of songs that are so near completion. I have an idea. It’s a little bit extraordinary, but get the people of the community to nominate a select few songs in the forums, pick some of the most wanted songs, playtest them and see what’s missing and complete and fix it accordingly. The only thing I can really chart is guitar, but I don’t mind play testing vocals (depending if i know the song well enough) and 1x bass drums.. (when my kick pedal arrives).
So ill need a bass charter maybe 2 vocal/harmonies charter due to the sheer amount of vocal-less songs. Also keys will be nice when necessary so that too. All charters will have to do reductions too, as I’d like to get more closer and closer to c3 standard.
Seems like a stretch but may be possible ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
You may say I’m a dreamer… but I’m not the only one.
Edit: and drums charter *smacks forehead*
In a way, that’s the purpose of the Show Floor section of the forum. Authors who are not quite C3 level authors can bring in their projects and have been tested/reviewed by C3 authors (assume it’s a song someone wants to pick up) in hopes of a future C3 release.
We are always open to collaboration here, and there is nothing stopping a user from Private Messaging another user and asking if they could fix up a project or possibly bring it to the show floor for them (assuming all proper credit will be given and the other user is fine giving their stuff away). Just try to avoid a direct “Hey, can I send this into the show floor for you without making any corrections myself” kind of situation. Make it worth applying your name to the project for release, and try to either chart missing instruments or fix up and improve the existing charts.
