I’m having a issue with some of the songs that I’ve authored.

It’s come to my attention that the left channel audio is being attenuated during RB3 preview/playback. I’ve verified that the audio out of Reaper is correct, and Magma identifies the audio in the affected projects as stereo, but the left channel audio ‘pulses’, for lack of a better description.

This is impacting almost half of my projects and I’ve been unable to find any correlation between working projects, and those that playback with bjorked audio.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If it happens with songs with only 2 instruments, adding a silent Crowd Audio track fixes it as it is related to Magma not being able to process a certain amount of audio channels properly for some reason

Correction. MagmaCompiler. Two different programs. We control Magma, not MagmaCompiler.

It took me longer to type the question than it did for the question to be answered. :c00l:

          I love this place. <3

So, should including a silent crowd track be SOP with all projects (that don’t include an actual crowd track)?

This tends to happen if you have two audio tracks. Most customs only have the backing track, in which case it doesn’t happen and it’s not a concern.

I’ve also never experienced it myself, and I’ve done plenty of backing + vocals customs. I believe it’s when you have something like vocals + guitar, rather than vocals + backing when setting up the audio.
