In some songs, such as the “Hawaii Five-O” theme just released by C3, a significant section of the song is one instrument only. Perhaps such songs could be broken up into “psuedo-stems” so that when one instrument has all the attention, the audio plays only in the “stem” for that instrument. That way it really is on that player to keep the music going. Once the rest of the band comes in, or even just one other instrument, the music would then switch back to the background “stem”.
Just a suggestion for future songs. I’m certainly not asking for existing songs to be reworked. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
For full studio mixes I find that to usually not work all that well, though sometimes with partial Guitar Hero stems that works okay depending on the mixing/audio levels
