Update to Converts now on Post #1
July 2, 2014 at 12:38 am #423810Lustra – Scotty Doesn’t Know is already available from our database.
July 2, 2014 at 12:39 am #423811Minor detail with some metadata, it may not be a good idea to use an actual upcoming DragonForce album’s album art for Too Much DragonForce, since it’s obviously not from that album ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Also, DragonForce is power metal, not “rock” ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

July 2, 2014 at 1:49 am #423816Isn’t that a cover version though?Yes it is, and for a reason. The song was recorded specifically for the movie and even the original sounds muddied. The cover I went with had nearly identical instrumentation but clearer vocals.
He can stick with his version, I don’t particularly care. Just pointing it out because it seems like a huge waste of time to chart a song that is essentially already available, moreso in this case that I stick by my choice to go with the cover because of the quality of the original.

I was only fixing up a few data on some customs Sideshow kindly found for me.
I will remove Scotty Doesn’t know Sorry for any trouble.
I have started on my next custom, Bucks Fizz It should be Gtr/Bass/Keys
July 2, 2014 at 4:07 pm #423859Like I said, you don’t have to. Just pointing it out.
Next time you should really, really, do a search in our database, in the harmonix website, and in the “other customs” forums. There is no reason to waste your time doing something already done!
Trust me, I released about 5-6 fully charted, all difficulties customs that then either Harmonix or GHtoRB3 released after me and I pulled my versions in respect, and it felt like the biggest waste of my time. But at least that was after the fact.
