You really thought you’d have something unexpected like…
I dunno, abducted by aliens? Haha, foolish you.
But I have an actual reason! I have been working on a card game based on music, and NO, this is not DropMix for the poor, neither the Rock Band Board Game!
Let me introduce to you…

But what’s that you might ask?
Well I’ve been
copyinginspired by Harmonix’s April Fools prank presenting a Rock Band Board Game, and liked the idea of a card-based music game. So I’ve come up with rules, cards, and other cool stuff.But what does it look like?!
Let me give you a good explanation featuring one of the 250 cards in the starter pack as an example:
In a few days, you will learn more on how to play, what cards are featured, and in some more time, the link to print all these cards!

Aaaanyway. I’m gonna announce, for the next 5 days, 20 cards from 5 genres. Today is Rock!

For this second day of announcements, Play Me Loud goes pop!
And today’s interesting subjects is: The expansions!
Of course, there will be expansion packs, much like how Rock Band DLC works, except due to sparing tree lives, they will be multiples of 9! So you can have 3×3 packs, 1×9 pack, 1×6 and 1×3 pack, a lot of possibilities!
And since they are much simplier to make than Rock Band DLC, and Play Me Loud is a non-profit game, countless artists can be featured in that game to win with the playlist of your dreams! I’m talking about a large Beatles expansion, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Guns ‘N’ Roses, AC/DC! But more than artist-themed expansions, there will also be user-themed expansion! The game’s enthusiasts will have the right to submit a request list, and might as well see it as an expansion under the name “(Your name here)’s picks”, simple as that!

The fun subject of the day is the shiny cards! They’re nothing more important than the rest, but every big expansion will come with at least a shiny card, they’re not really shining, but since that’s what the guys who did Pokémon call this, I’m calling them shiny! They’re just pretty card I designed as an exercice of creativity on Photoshop :^)

Today’s announcement is for B-Boys and B-Girls, and it’s everything but wiggidy-wiggidy-wiggidy wack!
And today’s second subject is: How will it be available?
According to my counts, the whole starter pack will be a 27 pages long .pdf file. I will also provide a back for cards, if you want a better looking deck. Common expansions should just be 1 page big, and big expansions will feature a maximum number of 90 cards, which is 10 pages (9 cards per page). This is the size I have chosen because this is the common card size. I could work on a smaller version, allowing 4×4 layouts, reducing the starter pack to 16 pages, but it would depend on how the text (especially the effect description) would look!
