Hey everybody, I am currently working on Paradise Lost, by Symphony X, and I just finished the Guitar chart. I used tabs to guide me with this, but I wonder, did I overchart this? What is your opinion?
The question is specifically about 0:34 till 0:38 by the way.
At about the 30 sec mark the red sustain note, it sounds like you’re missing a notes, like there should be a yellow then red. Besides that though, to me it seems fine. It’s hard to tell with those fast sections, but it does look like a blast to play ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

It will be. It’s nearing completion, I just have to add the vocals:
After slowing the video down 50%, I think that section’s supposed to be charted in sixes instead of eights. That was just a quick look, though.
According to the sheet music I found, it is supposed to be in sevens, which… is not really possible in reaper I think, but I’ll give it a shot with sixes instead.

You can pretty much do what you want in Reaper. To change the grid just type in the grid boxes the value you need (1/24 in example).
I take that back then. But the question is, is charting every single note played in the solo desirable, or does it become too much to be able to play.
