      Hello Everyone

Sorry to ask about a probably boring redundant question but i’m stuck with overdrive activation to end my first song.

      My question are :

      1) Is RBN plug show the green area before an activation ?(visual)

      2) I use Drum Fill line 120/124 to put activation window but nothing is shown on the preview RBN Fx

      3) Do i have to use BRE-120/124 lines for bass/Guitar ?

      4) I put overdrive line for vocals but i don’t understand where to put activation window, is it about lines 120 to 124 again or is it done automatically ?

      I wish you a good day !

ps: I’ve already read the drums fill section of drum authoring of the tutorial but it’s not clear for me , may be because it’s not shown on RBN fx.

        Hello!

        1) In-game, you will see the green area if you have turned off drum fills in the options menu. The section is not shown through the plugin.

        2) The section is not shown through the plugin.

        3) No. Only if a Big Rock Ending is applicable to the song.

        4) Overdrive is drawn on note 116 G#7. If you use the template, each line should have names shown to the left in the editor.

Make sure there’s at least one note below overdrive for it to be collected, or that it its exactly the same length of a phrase marker, and…

Can you post the complete error message from Magma?

                Hello Buster66
I think i’m using the wrong .mid file because magma only referencing “drum part found “.
-I’m picking the file in /Documents/reaper/myproject . I pick the .mid but the date is not good, it shows 4/10/19 and i have saved my project today 2/11/19.
-In my RB template reaper project, i have Beat/Event/Drums/Guitar/Keyboard/Bass/Vocals Tracks , so that’s why i ‘m thinking i’m using the wrong.mid file .
ps:I assume i’m a total beginner with Reaper i know many editing software (audio/video) but this one looks like very strange to me. But it also can be used to do customs songs so i keep fighting it <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> joke.
Here is the message i got from Magma when i clic on TEST!
                Found PART DRUMS…

                Added drum mix events successfully.

In Reaper when you export to midi, make sure to unmute all the tracks you want to export. Those are the red “M” buttons on the track names on the left hand side. Make sure the ones you want to export are not red. Also, when you export it will show you where it is going to put the .mid file and what it will be called.

Hello and thanks both of you for the help !

Buster66 i think you put the finger on my issue, i had one hidden track in my project, who was muted now the mid file is working… But i’m hitting another problem …

1)Magma says i have to put my AuthorID but it always sending me an “it’s an invalid Key” message.

I”m using the 5 numbers i’ve found on my profile “AuthorsID”

I going yo search on forum about that but it seems my midi export problem is solved !

Thanks a lot to both of you Buster66 and EchoOfMystery

You’re welcome! You’ve found the topic, but anyways: “In Magma, select ‘Options’, then uncheck ‘Use unique numeric song ID'”.
