Hey, sorry, posting again for help. So when I play my song in-game, the notes aren’t in-sync I took a video to show you:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLTAxg6HTRc
So that is what happens in-game, which if you couldn’t tell, isn’t what I want. The notes are synced to the music in the preview in Reaper, but in-game they aren’t.
Am I maybe using the wrong audio track? The audio track I’m using or the parts and backing has the exact same 3 measure pause in the beginning as the one in Reaper, it’s the exact same file.
I would say consolidate/export the music file from Reaper and put that in Magma. I had this problem with Born in the USA. I was using an old audio file. Just make sure it’s the right one you put in ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Thank you so much! It works perfectly now! Thank you!
No worries ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I’m having the same problem but I’m not so sure what you mean. Are you talking about putting the raw audio file in the “Backing” part of Magma? The charting tutorial I read said to render the project as a .wav and to use that as the “Backing”.

When in reaper, click on your music track so it’s selected then go file, consolidate/export tracks. Then you put that file as your backing track in Magma. I do it this because then I know the music will be in time with the charts
Ah hah! When what you suggested there didn’t work I was messing around with Reaper’s settings and in “Preferences” then “Recording” at the bottom there’s a checkbox that says “Use audio driver reported latency”. This didn’t sound good, so when I unchecked it and tested it out it worked! I suppose I’ll have to turn it on and off depending on whether I’m charting or testing but from here on out it’s smooth sailing. Thanks MANG0.
