I love love LOVE this song, The Shape Of Punk To Come got me into hardcore years and years ago and I’ve always wanted it in game. Some credit is due here to… somebody, for doing the tempo mapping for me. I found a custom of this forever and ever ago and was bitterly disappointed that it was nooot so well charted at all. Completely overhauled the drums, fixed up bass and guitar, and vocals are vocals. Enjoy.

-During the 16th disco beats with hi-hat and snare you need to chart hi-hat to Red and snare to Yellow, then place a [mix 3 drums 0d] event once that section comes in and a [mix 3 drums0] mix once it ends. That way it’s playable in standard drums while still being accurate in Pro Drums. No need to do this with the Blue Tom based disco beats.
-No need for the roll lane over the cymbals in the intro
-Noticed a missing snare right before the bridge-ish part with only blue notes and kicks.
-I would recommend cleaning up the autogen venue a bit. A lot of weird camera cuts on the vocalist during no singing, the drummer is in the [idle] state for loads of the song, the vocalist would look better if set to [intense] when singing and [idle] when not and you should see about making lipsync (you can do this by exporting the Reasynth rendition of the vocal chart as a Dryvox audio file).
-I would recommend doubling the tempo via doubling the notes in the BEAT track and then setting the animation pool to Fast in Magma to make the animations fit more with the intense nature of this song, though up to you if you think the faster OD drain is worth it
Outside of that though the Drum chart seemed pretty good and glad to see this song finally in game
Thanks for the feedback, New Noise is going into v2 definitely, I also noticed an incorrect guitar note during a playthrough so that plus everything you mentioned is going towards it. Thought I had set up disco flip but I guess not!
As for customs going forward, I have a few gears turning. Going to give a real decent try at vocal authoring next, I have two customs ready for release but for the lack of vocals. Also a band-specific three pack, as well as a couple of GH converts I might blast out as I find time. 45 hour real life work weeks though.
How about them RockBand customs eh? I had so much vision, but so little time! Still do. Going away on holiday in about a month though and I feel like a lack of a job and being away home might give me some inspiration to work on some shit again. I was halfway through the final step of a totally complete custom of Arctic Monkey’s ‘I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor’ before I stopped, which I’d like to finish up.
That said, here’s this for now, me getting all 14 again. PLEASE SOMEONE DO HARMONIES FOR IT.

Mate you don’t know how happy i am to see that and I’ve had a play and its soooo close to being finished just vocals harmonies and pro keys and that thing will never need tweaking again. Sadly I’m not a charter i just play and feedback otherwise id help like a shot
