Converted from Captainoffun22’s WIP Phase Shift custom, fixed notes and drum part + added overdrive, fills etc. Vocals are all talkies, and this track could really benefit with harmonies! But as is, it’s cool to have some more AM on RB.
I actually suspect this is a pretty strong candidate for the warm-up tier in RockBand 4, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s usurped in a few months by that. For now enjoy!
anyway someone can chart the vocals possibly with harmonies?
I’m not trying to be mean but I don’t think it would be worth it as Rock Band just had dlc from them and maybe the song could be in RB4 or dlc later maybe.
June 5, 2015 at 2:03 pm #447188I think unless we have 100% confirmation that a song will be in RB4 or DLC that it shouldn’t discourage someone from charting any particular song. After all, if that were everyone’s mindset then no songs would ever get made. Besides, Harmonix has put quite a range of music in Rock Band so I would say any song “COULD” get in RB4 whether on disc or the hopeful DLC. I might be saying this selfishly too because I REALLY want that song to get proper vocals/harmonies!
June 6, 2015 at 12:52 am #447285OMG, Karma Police, thank you so much!
June 13, 2015 at 4:57 am #447837Since they just released their new album, here’s a convert of a Kueller chart. One of my personal favourite old school Muse tracks.I love old-school MUSE, this is the sole reason why I went into RB3 Customs. is there a repository for all the MUSE tracks that have been charted? Do you take request of old-school muse tracks? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

Basically, there’s a dude by the name of Kueller who has charted 85% of Muse’s discography full band over on the fretsonfire forums. Recently he’s been hanging around here as a few users have been converting his MIDIs into RB3cons. I’d definitely expect to see more tracks pop up since they’re so easy to convert and he’s a good charter!
Here’s his thread http://www.fretsonfire.net/forums/viewt … =5&t=52546

Sweet. How difficult would it be for me (and is it okay) to convert his midi’s into RB3cons? And set them up so they are all in the correct RB3 album groups and have correct metadata when loaded up?
June 14, 2015 at 1:20 am #447941It really is just about learning the basics of song authoring and the Magma process if you don’t have to worry about tempo mapping or note drawing. I’d guess a convert would only take about half an hour to get it to RB3 standards? Especially with CAT installed. You should definitely head over to the authoring support forum and see if you can wrap your head around the materials in there, converts are a good ‘kiddies pool’ to start learning about making customs.

I’ve got summer off from work so I gotta spend my time doing something I love. Thanks for the guidance! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
July 13, 2015 at 9:44 pm #450207Vampire Weekend! I love the ‘Contra’ album so much. It’s wonderful. Looking forward to checking these out (and ‘North American Scum’ and the Radiohead stuff and the XX and Arctic Monkeys). Thanks! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Edit: Mediafire wouldn’t let me download Nude by Radiohead. The rest will more than keep me going though. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

So its been confirmed that Arabella is the Arctic Monkey song being released for RB4. Is it possible that we can get a full vocal/harmony fix on Do I Wanna Know?

It is likely it will be released for dlc later on, i was thinking of doing this song with full vocals but i don’t want to work on the song and then it get’s released for dlc.
August 30, 2015 at 4:15 am #453947Forget what i said, i will make a custom of it.
I don’t really like Captainoffun22 chart of it, i found a chart on youtube for phase shift and i might use that.
October 17, 2015 at 2:20 am #457694Just thrown a bunch of my better, full customs and my retouched Ungrateful Dead converts up on the database for easy finding.
Hope to finish off a few things I’ve had under the hood for a while now, including UD’s whole Death From Above 1979 pack and chart of The Heavy’s ‘How You Like Me Now?’ (dude has seriously good taste in authoring), plus my own chart of A$AP Rocky’s ‘Fuckin’ Problems’ (all those vocaaaals), but I’ve been recently signed to a record label (bragging) and “real music” stuff has been keeping me really busy. Will find time though!
October 17, 2015 at 2:53 am #457700That’s awesome. Good luck in your musical pursuits.

Hey thanks so much! It’s exciting times for sure.
Also woah I actually got these done. Had a few hours at the airport – pretty confident in how they play (haven’t had a chance to test them quite yet BUT I have run them through cPlayer like 20 times and watched if the charts look right), regardless in a few days I’ll revisit them to add dryvox, fixes and the like, but for now here are some new full band tracks!

Death From Above 1979 have been a personal fav of mine for a while now. You may recognise them as ‘Trainwreck 1979′ was just released for RB4, but these tracks are a hell of a lot more fun to play to be totally honest. Their “thing” as a band is that they’re only a bass player and a drummer, which is reflected in the charts accordingly. Great stuff though, high energy, check ’em. Also!

The Heavy’s ‘How You Like Me Now?’ – a suuuuuper catchy, bluesy rock track that really propelled them in popularity, they’re one of the few bands David Letterman ever had play an encore because he liked them so much. Vocals and drums is where it’s at, but it’s great fun as a full band. All charts today come to you from Ungrateful Dead yet again, with significant 5 lane improvements by moi. Dude is a beast for charting all this stuff though, make sure you pop over to the FoF forums to thank him!
