I completely agree with what Ollie said, Nemo – that’s very reassuring to read. I am hopeless at creating venue tracks outside of a few camera shots here and there so it’s good to know there are others who don’t mind using autogeneration.
What I might do for mine is autogenerate the VENUE track and then take it back into Reaper and add/remove some parts to make the special parts of the song stand out (e.g. spotlights, darkness, fretboard closeups). That way it still seems unique to the song but saves a hell of a lot of time and thought.

And Ryan, if you’re still ok to do the venue for “New Year’s Day”, I should have a playtest version of the song running next week.
