I am in the process of changing some midi notes in a custom song I downloaded from this site. I have encountered an issue that I have never seen in any of the other midi files I have altered. When I tried to move a green midi note up one line to a red note it jumped up 2 lines to a yellow note. I could not move any note up or down into the red position. If I tried to draw a red note at that location a green note would be created instead. I could drag a red note to that position or paste a red note to that position so I got around the issue which was present at multiple locations and with different colored notes in the midi track.

 

I was just curious if others had ever encountered this issue, what might be the cause and if there was a way to fix the problem.
