Odd Audio Sync issue in Reaper

Hello,
I am working on a song in Reaper, and when I initially hit play and watch the notes scroll by (not in the RBN preview, just in the editor) everything is synced up. But if I pause, or stop and move the line, then everything is off by about 1/4 measure. If I then hit stop, home, and play again, everything is synced once more.
What could be causing this?
