In other words… I am quite sad to NOT see “Nightmare Night” released. I really was hoping for that metal song to make it this year. I know it wasn’t released last year because it was RELEASED last year (It’s hard to chart a song for Halloween 2013 when it was released on Halloween day 2013, after-all… Unless you friends with the musician and had access to the audio files the whole entire time he was working on it). Oh well… Maybe next year?

(Yes Slendermane is a canon character in MLP. S/he appeared in the background for a few seconds in one episode). So… I don’t know for sure if the Slendermane song was made because of the show or because of the fandom’s wish to ponify everything (which gets annoying, in my opinion).
The song slendermane came out 3 years ago and the episode where he showed up was from Season 4 which started in 2013 so yah it’s a fanmade thing

Eeyup. Forest Rain. He did a metal song for the first time and did a pretty amazing job at it.
And honestly, I only know two songs with the name “Nightmare Night” (discounting covers and remixes).

Why we didn’t get Five Nights At Freddy’s surprises me, as it would fit well with the N.N. pack, because the artist just happens to be a brony (a group of people I usually tend to hate).On this point, I would have actually done this song for the Halloween pack if I had more time to get it authored, as I could probably get multitracks directly from the source. My own entry to this year’s pack was last-minute enough as it is, probably wouldn’t have even happened if the charts hadn’t been done for over a year.
Maybe next year?
I also wouldn’t have put it in the NN pack if I released it this year. Brony artist does not always = brony song. At least one of my upcoming releases will be a good example of that.
Do you have an existing chart of it? I am saying this because I am being a bit paranoid about the world ending with the final blood moon. At least it would give me something to do as meteorites level the area around my basement…

I don’t, sorry. I said above I could get multitracks, not that I did. It’s currently not one of my projects in progress. I don’t author without multitracks except in very special cases.
However, I do want to do it at some point. I just need to clear out some of my existing projects first. I’m making progress on that front, so that’s a start.

I wonder if those Crush 40 and “Weird Al” songs that were announced for RBN but never got released would be possible to get. So many good songs….

I wonder if those Crush 40 and “Weird Al” songs that were announced for RBN but never got released would be possible to get.The authors involved in those were OzoneEntertainment and ThatAuthoringGroup, respectively, and neither are currently active (though TAG songs that were already finished initial authoring stages are being ported over to C3, none of those include Weird Al). There’s also the factor of those being huge, major names that would probably demand a lot of money, or at least their labels would demand money.
