I can only hope that the entirety of Operation: Mindcrime will finally lure the missus back to Rock Band.

        Thanks, guys!

I can’t imagine how much work must have gone into this. Great stuff. Thanks as always!

Sorry if I’m being dumb, but the blog post means there is should be a single song file with the whole album on it, right? I can’t seem to find that.

I’m glad to see O:M though, it’s the only album from them I was familiar with before C3.

I should probably listen to some more

edit: I found it, it’s linked on the blog post, not the spreadsheet. I was being dumb after all

          Another full album??!! :wth:

What an embarrassment of riches! :v:

This is mind blowingly amazing. I am still feeling a bit giddy from last week’s release and then this week just blew my socks off (if you’re keeping track, I am now both faceless & sockless). I swear that when I saw the first clue in the hint thread yesterday (which simply said “REVOLUTION”), Operation Mindcrime was the very first thing I thought of. I never posted my guess because I’m just about always wrong, and I figured I was getting my hopes up way too high and setting myself up for disappointment. Well I guess even when I’m right, I’m wrong. This album remains among my favorites of all-time from start to finish. I have seen Queensryche perform it live in it’s entirety twice (many years apart) and now my friends & I shall do the same in my living room.

TREMENDOUS THANKS to Farottone and xlxAvaricexlx, I imagine that this project must’ve been a huge undertaking. FWIW, I assure you that many of us will soon be channeling all of that energy you guys put into this release in the form of pure (LOUD) joy and good old hard rockin’ sweat.

Edit- Also love me some Raconteurs. An “embarrassment of riches” indeed Colonel.

I am empty inside. But I had this one on my HDD for 2 years and it was about time I released. I “slightly” mistimed the released so I ended up losing sleep over it. With the help of Nemo and Lowlander it got out in time.

You’re not dumb, and it will be in the database when I have coded up a solution for it to my satisfaction.

I have many reason for liking this site/community. One of them is being introduced to new music. This was one of those weeks. Checking YouTube to listen to the full songs, liking them, and downloading. Thanks to all those authors that introduce me to new music.

And of course thanking the authors that release well known classics (Queensrÿche – Operation: Mindcrime ). I call bullshit on Farottone. There is no way he lost sleep, the man puts out way to many tunes to sleep

I’m getting at least one of the Raconteurs and SSPU.

As for Operation Mindcrime…I’m sure this will sound like blasphemy in reference to a concept album, but if you only had to choose a couple tracks, what would you recommend? Was anything on the album particularly radio friendly? I’m getting close to running into the song limit, so I can’t be downloading every single track.

I’m thinking what I’ll do is download the full album “song” (great idea) and like, 2 tracks, in order to get album sorting.

Thanks farrotone and the other charters!
