Hi Nunchuck, I had some friends & family over this past weekend and we had a great time playing lots of your customs. As I suspected the Van Halen songs were some of the most selected tracks of the evening. We did notice however that a couple of the other tracks were missing several lines of lyrics on vocals (scrolling text just has dashes where words should be). The songs are “Dean Martin-Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” & “Harry Chapin-Cat’s in the Cradle”. I believe I have played these both back when Mr. Met released them and there were no lyrics missing, but I would have to reinstall those old versions to be sure. The Dean Martin track seemed to be missing more than the Chapin song but I did see this on both. Please know that this is not a complaint (which would be absurd after you have been so generous sharing all these), I just wanted to let you know in case you weren’t already aware of it.
On a side note, for whatever reason I was under the impression that a few of the Megadeth tracks had vocal parts. I could swear the visualizer had a difficulty ratings on vocals for some of the Countdown stuff, but I now see that they all say “No Part”. I’m not sure if those visualizer’s were changed or were my eyes just clouded by wishful thinking? Not that it really matters since I now know that they do not include vox, just curious if I was hallucinating (I’d call it a sanity check, but I’m not sure I’ll pass).
June 9, 2014 at 7:14 pm #422135The MrMet songs are messed up. I discovered over the weekend that running MrMet songs through the mid cleaner in C3 con tools does that to the lyrics. I will fix soon. Sorry.
June 9, 2014 at 7:39 pm #422137What exactly is MIDI Cleaner doing? If they were incorrectly labeled as Text Events, it should be changing them to Lyric Events. If they were, somehow, labeled as anything other than Lyric or Text Events, they would be deleted as they don’t belong.

I ran the .mid from MrMet’s song through the midi cleaner. It removed all but the last syllable of words leaving only dashes where any earlier syllable should be.
Example
sha- dow would become – dow losing the sha part. It happens in 2 or more syllable words. It did not effect single syllable words at all. I hope this helps. I have not removed the links yet if you want to see more in depth. MrMet could have mis-labled them. I did not look at it that closely. I just fixed the lyrics by hand. I literally only figured it out yesterday. I only for experimental purposes looked at an uncleaned mid and saw the lyrics were fine. So I ran it though cleaner and boom they were gone. That is how I discovered it. The.mid didn’t really need cleaning I just did it as precaution. I hope my poor description helps. I was going to ask you about it, I just didn’t have time yet.
June 9, 2014 at 9:48 pm #422145Post the original midi file with a few words i can go to and check.
EDIT: I tried grabbing MrMet’s Cat’s in the Cradle. Both the original MIDI and the clean MIDI look fine as far as labeling of lyrics goes. Nothing looked obviously wrong.

Did it do the missing syllable thing to you when you cleaned it? Any word with more than 1 syllable was effected. I was using C3 con tools 3.3.0, as it was before your new update. I totally had to look real close to notice in Reaper, but in game you could easily see it. Sorry it took a while to get back to you. Yesterday was busy as hell for me.
June 14, 2014 at 4:33 am #422510Been sitting on a batch of songs for a while; finally testing in-game. The vocals in “Coma White” seem very loud compared to the other parts of the song. Is this the case for everyone else, or might it just be an issue on my end?
