Hey there Rockers,

Well, it is Saturday and time roll out some cool-ass tracks for your weekend RB pleasure. This week, once again, features big name artists we have never done a track by before. These past two weeks were inspired by looking at the lengthy list of artists we have done here at the Funhouse. The list reads like a who’s who of music history. Most of my favorite artists have made it to that list. Of course, that wasn’t good enough for me. We have been adding new artists to that list recently, so why not concentrate on doing that for a few weeks? These past two releases are a result of this thinking. Release Notes

Firstly, let’s start with Kid Rock. I’m sure this release will be similar to Limp Bizkit. Nobody will say anything about it, but hundreds will download. That is fine, we will know! This song is super cool. You Never Met a Motherfucker Quite Like Me has fun instrument parts and cool funny lyrics. Just download it, you will see. We won’t tell anyone you did.

Bon Jovi makes their first trip to the Funhouse this week. This is a great tongue-in-cheek look at love. It was considered a huge hit with the people I used to hang with at the roller skating rink.

Quiet Riot… Ok, when I was 12 this was the shit!!!! I can’t say enough good things about it. Rock it out and join me!

Hey there Rockers,

Happy Monday everybody! I’m here with some trivia fun to break up your Monday blues. we have some really cool stuff lined up for you. Let’s get right to the clues.

 

Hint for Song # 1 – To start things off in a very weird way, our first offering this week is the most well-known song from a strange avante-garde art-rock band. As with each of the first three songs this week, it features a weird sound and strange or racy lyrics. This song most of all.

Hint for Song # 2 – Our next track this week was #1 on Billboard in the band’s home country and #4 in American Billboard Hot 100 chart. This risque song was used in many films including Austin Powers International Man of Mystery.

Hint for Song # 3 – Weird, strange and unusual all describe this next band quite well. This song is their only US hit. They have appeared on disc in a RB game. This song really took off after its video was featured on MTV’s Beavis and Butthead.

Hint for Song # 4 – Next up this week, we have an awesome cover. It was the first top 40 single for this band. It was the first single from the band’s third studio album. It had a popular music video featuring a more glam-like look.

Hint for Song # 5 – Our next band was featured in 2 different Guitar Hero games. The track we are doing this week is from the band’s second studio album. The band has been described as doom or stoner metal. The song was a single, but did not chart on Billboard.

Hint for Song # 6 – Our final track this week is a from band that sounds like a classic 80’s heavy metal band despite being formed in the 2000’s. This throw-back heavy metal band was nominated for a Metal Hammer Golden Gods Best New Artist Award. This track is from their full-length debut album.
