Release Notes

This week all the songs are really good.

Let’s start with Tony Carey. You say “Who is this dude?”, I say check it out…

. This cheese-tastic video will answer all the questions. It is a really fun song for RB, please check it out. It is awesome. You won’t be sorry!

Next the QotSA song that many wanted but Harmonix probably would never release due to subject matter.

David Lee Roth returns with his summertime anthem Goin’ Crazy!. This features Steve Vai, so it can be tricky on guitar, have fun!

A great Sheryl Crow song that just screams summer.

An awesome Sublime song that is going to be a hit at your RB parties.

Finally the excellent pop-punk cover of the Don Henley classic boys of Summer rounds out the week. Hopefully these are all going to be fun stuff that everyone will groove on.

BTW, this is late in posting but OMG to the Melvins – Hooch…….I play it every day.

and the wife and I are working on customs now too and hope to share em soon…

 

PS…..anyone wanna give us advice on a great e-drum set that will work with rb3 for 360???? cost really doesnt matter..

tired of pro drums on a 99 cent drum kit..

 

I use the Alesis DM10 e kit with RB3 & have a blast playing them. 99 different drum kits to choose from ! with over 2000 sounds. I luv them. I picked up on ebay for $900 regular about $1500 to 2K depending on what you want.

I put mesh heads on my set got a double bass pedal & my scores in RB3 jumped to high 90’s in hard mode after first song. Check them out here http://www.alesis.com/percussion.

Before the new hints come out I wanna thank you so much again for all the great tunes of the past weeks! Especially the Butthole Surfers, Queens of the Stone Age and The Clash tunes! I had a lot of fun playing them!

Happy Labor Day. We hope you had a great weekend. Thank you for all the positive comments, they are what keep us going when the week is hard or busy. Here are the hints for our next release:

 

Hint for song #1 – Our first track this week comes from a guitar legend that returns to Funhouse customs. This early 80’s track just may be a favorite of Charlie Sheen.

 

Hint for song #2 – The next song is a one hit wonder. The lead singer did have a solo chart appearance later. This track was written about the drummer’s relationship problems. Drummers with blueballs are the worst.

 

Hint for song #3 – Our next track was actually the second single from this band’s debut album. At least one feminist group tried to ban this song. This didn’t work and the song became super popular.

 

Hint for song #4 – This song by a loved alternative band is a cover of a popular song by a cuban songwriter. The english version, which wasn’t a translation of lyrics from Spanish, was originally recorded by Dezi Arnaz.

 

Hint for song #5 – This next song was the very first single from this glam metal/ hard rock band’s self titled debut. It paved the way for their next platinum selling album, which I also hope to have a track from in the future.

 

Hint for song #6 – The next track this week is from the third studio album from this rap-rock band. This somber song is from an album that topped several Billboard charts including Rock, Hard Rock and Alternative charts.
