Release Notes

Fell in Love with a Boy – This Joss Stone classic is a re-imagining of the great White Stripes track. This smooth R&B song was given new life and depth with this well done cover. If you never have heard it, it is really worth a listen!!!

 

 

 

You’re No Good – I love Linda Ronstadt. Her voice has made for some of the best cover songs ever. This track is a great example. The song went all the way to #1 in February 1975. My dad was a big fan and he played her albums often. This is one great song, don’t miss out on it!!!

 

 

 

Ode to Billie Joe – This song is one one the most recognizable songs in history. It was a huge #1 hit. The song is ranked #412 on Rolling Stone’s list of “the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time”. Ode to Billie Joe got eight Grammy nominations, resulting in three wins for Bobbie Gentry. You know this classic, right???

Welcome Rockers, Peeps and Rock Band Freaks

We join Gordon Carray and Commissioner Sam J. Glarms in the ring for a big announcement. The arena is packed with fans anticipating this announcement. It is a landmark as it is the first of the Tuesday Night RockFights. The crowd is all abuzz about rumors of something special. There is a podium in the ring. The boisterous crowd noise falls to a whisper as Gordon Carray steps up to the podium.

 

GC – “Hey there Rockers! Welcome to the return of the RockFight!! March will feature our first RockFight Tuesday Night. Our commissioner is here with contracts in hand. I would like to introduce at this time… Sheryl Crow!!!”

 

The crowd erupts as we see pyro on stage and Sheryl Crow walks through the curtain. Sheryl makes her way to the ring giving high fives all the way. She stops and hugs a small girl who is at ringside. Sheryl Crow enters the ring and shakes hands with the Commissioner and with Gordon.

 

GC – “Thank you for joining us! We at RockFight are thrilled to have you here tonight.”
SC – “Thank you Gordon, This place rocks!! I love that I finally made it to the RockFight ring. “
GC – “You are here tonight with an agenda, I hear!”
SC – “Hell yes, I’m here with purpose. I wanna fight!! I brought some friends along to show how serious I am. We have been training for months for this fight. I would like to introduce my girls! First, my team needed a bad-ass enforcer. Here she is… Alanis Morissette!!!”

 

Showers of sparks fall as we see Alanis emerge from the back. The crowd starts it’s first fecal chant!
Holy Shit!!!
Holy Shit!!!
Holy Shit!!!

 

Alanis makes her way to the ring. She is looking bad-ass for sure. There is fire in those eyes. As she enters the ring, she and Sheryl Crow high five each other, as the crowd is still going crazy. They love Alanis.

 

SC -“I also brought a chick that is so quick and explosive, she will cement our team’s win. Put your hands together for Shakira!!!”
Shakira steps through the curtain and crowd goes wild again. A high energy entrance by Shakira, as she high fives the crowd, climbs up the ring ropes and bounds into the ring.

The ladies all greet one another. They take turns signing the contract. Gordon Carray steps to the podium to speak.

 

The lights go out…

 

 

When the light come back on, we see Rihanna, Ke$ha and Ivy Levan in the ring attacking the team of Crow, Morissette and Shakira.

GC – “Catfight!!!Catfight!!!Catfight!!!”

 

Commissioner Glarms gets out of the ring, while Gordon mans his post at the podium.
Shakira is thrown over the top rope to the floor. UUGGGHHH!!! That was a nasty fall.
Ke$ha and Ivy Levan double team Alanis and they look like they are setting up something devastating in the corner.

Crow and Rihanna both grab a fist full of hair.

Rihanna thumbs Crow in the eye. Rihanna then delivers a devastating knee to the head of Crow.

Meanwhile in the corner, Ke$ha and Ivy Levan have Alanis set up for a power bomb off the top turnbuckle.

Boom!!

It lands with a sick thud, leaving Alanis limp and life-less.

 

Ke$ha now has a spray paint can. She paints a large black X on the chest of Alanis. Ivy Levan lays down next to the unconscious Morissette and takes a selfie. Rihanna has grabbed Shakira down on the floor of the arena. She whips her hard into the barricade. Shakira crumples at the barricade. Ke$ha spray paints the X on Shakira and again Levan does her selfie bit. Sheryl Crow has gotten to her feet finally, only to be hit out of nowhere by a steel chair. Rihanna, Ke$ha and Ivy Levan all stand around her. They once again paint the X this time all three crowd around Sheryl Crow’s lifeless body for a selfie.

 

 

Rihanna grabs a microphone.

Rihanna – “We are the Bad-asses here! We’ll take your challenge!! Suck it!!!”

 

The three women stand tall and walk to the podium, pushing Gordon Carray out of the way!
They all sign the contract on the podium.

 

Here comes another fecal chant.
Holy Shit!!!
Holy Shit!!!
Holy Shit!!!

 

Medical staff are in the ring helping the downed fighters. It is pure pandemonium here at the arena. As the team of Rihanna, Ke$ha and Ivy Levan stand tall on the stage before they leave, they all flip the bird to the crowd. They have certainly took on the villain role. This is gonna be crazy!!

RockFight Tuesday Night just got hotter. Tuesday March 27, 2018 will be the date. We’ll update you with more info as it becomes available.
